Barrow Today for Sunday, June 10: Celebrate Iced Tea Day

Did you know there's a local good news magazine called "Sweet Tea"?

This first day of summer is coming up on June 20, but even before the season starts, this day, June 10, celebrates a drink that says summer in the south — it's Iced Tea Day

It is believed that tea was first served cold in the U.S. during the 19th century, and the drink became popular when vendors sold it at public events and world fairs.
