Barrow Mom Continues to Defend Pageant Outfit

A Barrow mom who dressed her daughter as Julia Roberts' character in the movie Pretty Woman says the media has blown the issue out of proportion.

Wendy Dickey told the on Tuesday that the issue has been distorted.

“I'm just tired of the media twisting our story, adding to it and deleting from it to make it look however they want,” she said. “Good Morning America even reported that I told them that I was getting death threats. I have never gotten a death threat, nor have I ever told any reporter that I had gotten death threats, but I guess it makes the story seem more dramatic to tell."
