Dan Auge recently received the 2012 Commissioner’s Merit Award for outstanding customer service and excellence in his daily job duties from GDOT Commissioner Keith Golden during this year’s District Employee Appreciation Day.

“Dan treats fellow employees and customers with the upmost courtesy and respect. He has become known as 'Mr. Dependable' while working one of our busiest Counties, Gwinnett," Golden said. "Dan is a role model for other employees; joining in to help during emergency response situations along the interstate even though that isn’t his direct responsibility. Dan inspires them to work as a team to accomplish the work at hand. He leads by example and no task is too small or too difficult for him."
