A sign posted at Marietta’s Mulligan's Food and Spirits has some people calling the restaurant racist ... again.

Recently, the restaurant on busy Roswell Street posted a sign that read, "I heard the White House smelled like collard greens and fried chicken."

Mulligan's former owner Mike Norman was no stranger to posting controversial signs and even sold T-shirts depicting President Barack Obama, then a presidential candidate, as the monkey Curious George.

Gerald Rose, founder of the New Order National Human Rights Organization, and other members of the group plan to meet at the restaurant at 11 a.m. to speak with the bar's owner and hold a press conference.

A caller from somewhere in New York started by making a bomb threat to a local Verizon Wireless building if he wasn't given all of the company's money. But on later calls he changed his request to free minutes, and then to buy the company.

During the first call at 6:09 a.m. on Sept. 2, the caller said: "I need you to transfer all the money in your company to my phone. If you don't, I will detonate an EMT in your building."

After getting the caller to repeat his request, the wireless company employee asked for the caller's phone number. The caller responded by cursing at her and hanging up.
