Alternative Fueled Vehicle Rolling Roundtable Tour Coming to Winder and Braselton

Register to attend this special event at the Winder Community Center on June 11 and Road Atlanta on June 19.

The Public Service Commission Chairman Tim Echols is hosting a statewide tour of alternative fueled vehicles June 11, 12, 19 and 20.

The car/truck showcase will visit Winder on June 11 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and the tour will stop at Road Atlanta in Braselton on June 19 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The event will feature multiple vehicles with a roundtable presentation and light refreshments. Events are free and open to the public however roundtable space is limited and reservations are needed to guarantee a seat.

Guests of the tour will learn about various options available for saving money on gasoline. Experts will be available to answer questions and a series of short presentations will be given. Each tour stop will offer displays of vehicles powered by electricity, propane and compressed natural gas and attendees will have the opportunity to touch, see and hear these vehicles.

Stops on the tour will include Buckhead, Winder, Athens, Statesboro, St. Simons Island, Braselton, Thomasville, Dublin and Norcross. Visit the website for specific location times and dates.
