Verity Bank Purchased by Community & Southern
Verity has branches in Winder and Cornelia
A Winder bank will now become part of Community & Southern.
Community & Southern, with 34 branches, will pay $11.80 per share for Verity and its Winder and Cornelia branches, the AJC reports.
The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
Verity Bank is located at 94 W. Athens Street.
