• A Waffle House job fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 16. This job fair is for the new Waffle House in Bogart. The job fair will be held at the Athens Career Center at 150 Evelyn C. Neely Drive in Athens. The employer will be interviewing applicants for cooks, grill, server, water and waitress positions. • Flexstaff Services in Monroe is holding a job fair to recruit individuals to be hired as production packers. If hired, individuals will work for a plastics employer in Athens. The job fir will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 17 at 226 Alcovy St. in Monroe. Qualifications for these positions include a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of one year of manufacturing or warehouse experience. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Currently, this company is hiring for four temporary to permanent positions. Preference will be given to those with Work Ready certification.
