Starbucks to Post Calorie Counts for Drinks, Pastries

Do you want to know how many calories you're sipping through that signature green straw?

Starbucks plans to start posting calorie counts on its menu boards and pastry cases, the AJC reports.

The move comes ahead of pending federal regulation that would require companies with more than 20 locations to post calorie information on menus by 2014.

  • New Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino® blended beverage, grande — 580 calories
  • Mocha Frappuccino® blended beverage — 400 calories
  • Caffé Vanilla Frappuccino® blended beverage — 430 calories
  • Strawberries & Crème Frappuccino® blended beverage — 380 calories
  • Tazo® Green Tea Crème Frappuccino® blended beverage — 430 calories
