New Businesses Set to Open Over Next Three Months at Gateway Station

In addition to the businesses that are scheduled to open in April, May and June, a car wash and a Wendy's are coming this fall.

Four businesses at Gateway Station, a retail development that fronts Ga. Highway 316, in the Winder/Bethlehem area, are set to open in the next three months. 

Premier Podiatry and Mattress Gallery USA & Fine Furniture are slated to open April 1, Perfect 10 Nails & Spa's opening is set for Opening May 1 and Pancho's Mexican Grill is expected to begin serving customers June 1. 

Wayne Bartlett with Maynard and Bartlett Realty Group in Winder, who also serves as operations manager for Combs Bartlett Commercial Investment & Development, said a car wash and a Wendy's fast food restaurant are coming to the area this fall. A total of 160 acres along Exchange Boulevard are earmarked for grocery, retail, restaurant, office and medical space within Gateway at University Parkway.

Longhorn is still under contract for a restaurant in the Gateway area, but Bartlett said he is unsure whether the company will close on the deal this year.
