Michaels Store Set to Open Friday

Double check your Pinterest boards to see what materials you need for any upcoming projects because as of Friday, you'll be able to shop for those arts and crafts supplies right here in Barrow County. 

The Michaels store inside the Barrow Crossing shopping center in Bethlehem is set to open this Friday, May 10. The specialty retailer sells arts and crafts supplies, frames, floral arrangements, wall decor, scrapbooking supplies and other merchandise, and the store is next door to PetSmart. 

"The store looks great and we are getting such great comments from the community," Operations Manager Sandy Richardson said in an e-mail to Barrow Patch.

A separate event celebrating the store opening is planned for later this month. 

"The May 19th Grand Opening will be a fun filled day with give-aways, things for the kids, and just a lot of fun things scheduled," Richardson wrote. "We are so excited to 'show off' our store and I think that the customers will like some of the new concepts." 

Regular store hours will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays. Click here to view the store's weekly ad and get set to shop this Friday. The ad is valid through Saturday, May 11.
