Farmington Hills Apartments Now Leasing

The development is off Haymon-Morris Road in Winder.

A "Now Leasing" sign went up Wednesday at Farmington Hills, a 72-unit apartment complex in Winder, while the first resident to occupy one of the 72 units moved in Tuesday.

Property manager Merri Thorn said she started leasing apartments about a month ago and about nine apartments will be occupied by the end of August. Forty units are currently available and the remaining 32 apartments are expected to be move-in ready in mid- to late September.

The complex offers one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments for renters whose incomes fall within specific guidelines — for a family of two the maximum income is $33,300, while the maximum annual income for a household of four is $41,580.

The apartment complex was developed and constructed by Atlanta-based TBG Residential. Amenities include a pool, a playground and a splashpool for children, a resident club house, a picnic pavilion, a computer lab and on-site laundry facilities. Thorn said surveillance cameras have been installed throughout the development.

Tours are available from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. For more information, call the leasing office at 770-307-0224.
