Discounts Available for Auburn Library Supporters

Friends of the Auburn Library offers discount cards to 32 local businesses and restaurants in exchange for a show of support.

The Auburn Public Library — a Barrow County member of the Piedmont Regional Library System — requires the support of its patrons and residents to provide special programming, such as family movie night, family game night, preschool story time and kid’s art club, among others.

Friends of the Auburn Library is a group formed to help facilitate the support needed. Thanks to a discount card program announced last month, residents who show their support for the Auburn Library can receive discounts to 32 local businesses and restaurants. Discount cards can be purchased for $10 each and are available at either the Auburn Library or through a Friends of the Auburn Library member.

Auburnites are also welcome to show their support for the library through the donation of books, which will either go directly into the library’s book collection or will be sold to benefit the Friends of the Library fund.
