Construction Continues at Aldi Site
"The home of the smart shopper" is coming to Winder.
What's known under the moniker of "the home of the smart shopper," construction continues at the site of the Winder Aldi Food Market.
A sign went up recently showing a picture of an existing store, and cement blocks and heavy machinery sit ready on site, which is at the corner of West May Street and Horton Street. Winder City Planner Barry Edgar said in June that representatives with Aldi had mentioned the project would likely be complete by the end of summer.
