Bethlehem Zaxby's Employees Get Trial Run Prior to Monday's Grand Opening

The restaurant will officially open at 11 a.m. Monday, July 16.

Cooks, cashiers and management at the new Bethlehem Zaxby's were hard at work Saturday even though the restaurant doesn't officially open until Monday. 

County and local city officials, business leaders and friends and family of licensees Sam Smith and Jeff, Todd and George Faulkner were invited out to lunch or dinner at the restaurant, giving employees a trial run before the official opening.

The Bethlehem restaurant is the second Zaxby's location in Barrow County and the 3,400-square-foot building seats 70.

“We realized this neighborhood is a perfect fit for the family atmosphere Zaxby’s represents,” Sam Smith said in a news release announcing the opening. “We’ve built our reputation and loyal following in this community by providing excellent service and great-tasting food, and we plan to carry on that tradition with this new, convenient location.”

The restaurant also boasts a Coca-Cola Freestyle® Fountain Machine, offering guests 100-plus beverage options, and the location recently underwent its  by the Northeast Health District.
