Barrow County Restaurant Inspections for Jan. 23, 2013: Slime Mold Build-up in Pizza Place's Ice Machine

The Northeast Health District reports the following health inspection scores for Barrow County.

•  Violation of: 4-1A. Food separated and protected (Improper meat order on shelves in walk-in cooler. Corrected on site by rearranging meat order — i.e. chicken stored with ground beef and next to ready to eat salami.) 

Non-critical violation: 

• Violation of: 15A. Food and nonfood-contact surfaces cleanable, properly designed, constructed, and used (Non-NSF equipment installed prior to notifying health department — i.e. two eye burners and two small fryer vats. All equipment must be commercial grade NSF certified.)
