Robley Tatum, who passed away last week at age 84, was a big fan of the Atlanta Braves and Waffle House.

He also loved the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. But when it came to Tech’s football coach, Paul Johnson, Tatum was not so much a fan.

From his obituary that appeared in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

"He loved his family, his neighbors, Georgia Tech, the Atlanta Braves, bowling (he was a great bowler), the Atlanta Journal/Constitution (where his dad had worked), Waffle House, Hickory House and the Picadilly Cafeteria, and Little Debbie. He didn't get his final wish for Tech, which to see Paul Johnson get fired, but hey, there's still time."

Johnson’s Jackets have gone just 28-25 the last four seasons and are only 1-5 both versus hated rival Georgia and in bowl games.
