Opening in Theaters This Weekend: 'Dredd,' 'End of Watch' and 'House at the End of the Street'

Several new movies open in theaters this weekend, including Gateway Cinemas 12 in Bethlehem. Click the links below for more information about these new releases and watch the trailers for a preview. 

"Dredd" — A remake of the 1995 Sylvester Stallone film "Judge Dredd," the plot takes place in in a violent, futuristic waste land police have the authority to act as judge, jury and executioner. A cop teams up with a trainee to take down a gang that deals a reality-altering drug. The movie stars Karl Urban as Judge Dredd. Showing at 4:45 and 9:45 and in 3D at 1:00 and 7:30 today, Friday, Sept. 21, through Sunday, Sept. 23.  

"End of Watch" — Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña portray two young officers are marked for death after confiscating a small cache of money and firearms from the members of a notorious cartel during a routine traffic stop. Showing at 1:20, 4:30, 7:15 and 9:45 today, Friday, Sept. 21, through Sunday, Sept. 23.

"House at the End of the Street" — A mother (Elisabeth Shue) and daughter (Jennifer Lawrence) move to a new town and find themselves living next door to a house where a young girl murdered her parents. When the daughter befriends the surviving son, she learns the story is far from over. Showing at 1:20, 4:00, 7:00 and 9:30 in the BigD Experience today, Friday, Sept. 21, through Sunday, Sept. 23.

"Trouble with the Curve"Clint Eastwood, plays an ailing Atlanta Braves baseball scout in his twilight years who takes his daughter, played by Amy Adams, along for one last recruiting trip. The movie also stars Justin Timberlake. Showing at 1:45, 4:15, 7:00 and 9:30 today, Friday, Sept. 21, through Sunday, Sept. 23.
