Two Amazing Bands in One Night For Your Listening Pleasure !
Headlining will be 3 Bucks Shy, a fabulous Acousticana/Bluegrass/Newgrass band. Members Jeff Carter (mandolin, fiddle, vocals), Gary Scott, (guitar/vocals), Terry Fohey (banjo, resonator guitar) and Ann Fohey (upright bass) who also perform at The Melting Point in Athens, are going to be giving us their best original tunes. These folks love making music together and it shows !
Opening for 3 Bucks Shy will be The Lonely Trio - a jazz trio featuring the vocals of Carly Baker with Chad Clark on fretless electric bass and Thom Tollerson on guitar and back-up vocals. Covering songs from the 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's and into this century, this trio most recently performed at the Carl House and are a hit everytime !
