Audition Preparation Sessions for Ages 16 and Up

Richard Woods - Native Georgian, was the Drama Instructor and Monologue Coach for The Northside School for the Performing Arts in Atlanta, Georgia; developing scene study for up and coming actors and actresses for commercial, stage, TV, and Film. Krysallis Gallery is proud to have Mr. Woods as a guest instructor for this very exciting six week summer 2012, session:   2:15pm to 3:15pm., "Audition - Preparation - Ages 16 - Up"                                    Ever wanted to be the one onstage emoting like your favorite actor or actress? Think you'd like to step up to the plate and give it a shot? Every seasoned actor relies heavily upon his relation with two things: instinct, and direction. How much instinct do you have to be an actor? What would it be like to have someone with a professional eye show you what to do?   Audition prep is more than just an acting tool, it is a confidence creator! Whether you audition for a movie, TV, or professional stage show, you need confidence to walk in the door and intro- duce yourself. We all have to do it. It's how we get the job. Believe it or not this class can help you acheive more confidence.   Mr. Woods will be conducting classes for those interested in discovering easier and quicker ways to improve as an overall actor. The six week class will allow for the completion of monologues: (1) serious or dramatic (1) comedy.
