"Barrio Hollywood" in English
In Barrio Hollywood, Alex Moreno, a Mexican-American boxer, dreams of fighting his way out of poverty. When Alex is injured, the Morenos' dreams are deferred in this tense play about biracial romance, family loyalty and the true pursuit of happiness. This play is part of the GGC Series and will be performed in the Gwinnett Federal Credit Union Studio at the Aurora Theatre.
The curtain goes up at 8:00pm on Thursday thru Saturday with a Sunday matinee at 2:30pm. Barrio Hollywood will be performed in Spanish April 14 thru April 24 in English April 28 thru May 1.
