Community Theater Makes Donation to Food Bank

A local food bank recently benefited from proceeds from ticket sales for a Winder-Barrow Community Theatre production.

Tery Overbey, president of of the theater group, presented a check to Gwen Hill of the Barrow County Benevolence Ministry. 

Winder-Barrow Community Theatre presents a portion of ticket proceeds to a local nonprofit group following each of its Main Stage shows. 

The action for the latest production, “The Dining Room,” took place in the dining room of a typical household, the place where the family assembles daily for meals and special occasions, making the food bank a fitting recipient of show proceeds.
