You need to get your facts straight. It shoots purple jelly and was not the center of attention, it was one of 13 main characters on the float from the movie! The toy soldier purposely did not take his fake rifle because of the event at Sandy Hook, but to tell a boy who had planned for weeks that he could not ride on the float his last year in cub scouts and be a misfit water gun that shoots purple jelly would have been ridiculous and unreasonable!

I just went back to review the photos. I found the Lost Toys float in full this time. It is a beautiful float. I also see that there are in fact many other children present and the gun is drawn not only shooting jelly but is also relatively the same size as the other toys. This picture does not even come close to what I observed that day at the parade. I could draw for you the exact image I saw that day and that is not it. It in no way offends or worries me. I'm sorry that I named this float's story book as the float I'm referencing. There was either another float or I was completely confused at what I saw. I sincerely apologize.
