Patch Whiz Kid of the Week: Savannah Berns
This Statham Elementary School student is outgoing and helpful.

- Accomplishments: Savannah is the daughter of proud parents Shawn Berns and Tiffany Vanderford. She has had perfect attendance and is being considered for the gifted program. She has been on a first-grade level for most of the year. Savannah is a very bright child. She is very outgoing and helpful. She takes dance class and plays T-ball, loves to go to church and to Memorial Park. Savannah had to get glasses a few months ago and didn't bat an eye. She is such a blessing, her mom says. She enjoys reading, helping in the kitchen, singing, playing in the dirt, gardening and likes Justin Bieber. She is a big help with her 2-year-old brother, J.J., and her dogs, Tipsy and Buster.
