Patch Whiz Kid of the Week: Aubrey Martin

Name, age: Aubrey Martin, 5

School: County Line Elementary

Accomplishments: Aubrey is exceeding all kinds of expectations for her academics and behavior. At 5 years old, she is reading at a 2.3 reading level and often helps her teacher with her peers. She reads to her class and also is a great role model. Aubrey has been a cheerleader for the YMCA and is a super big sister. She always is making cards for her family members. "Aubrey is such the sweetest little girl," her aunt says. 

Key to awesomeness: "I follow directions. I'm good. I do good in school and I learn. That is how I go in AR (Accelerated Reading) and up to 2.4 (reading level). I also have a Barbie book. Every Friday, I move up a level. I just help my friends because sometimes they need help so the AR people and some people help too so they can do better."
