Responsibilities include presenting and explaining insurance policy options, prospecting for new business by identifying and qualifying sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, setting appointments with prospective insurance customers, meeting with individuals and business owners and consistently understanding clients’ changing needs and making appropriate recommendations.
Qualifications: Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid state driver’s license and reliable and insured transportation. Applicants should have the ability to obtain or must currently posses an active life/health license, be self-motivated and self-disciplined with ability to work effectively with little or no supervision and have an outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships with a strong network of contacts.
