Auburn Residents: Are You Experiencing Low Water Pressure?

The city has provided an explanation for any occasional low water pressure.

The city of Auburn wants to reassure any residents who may be experiencing occasional low water pressure — it's not a permanent problem, as the water supply is currently undergoing safety testing.

The city posted the following update Tuesday, July 23, on its Facebook page

Do you experience low water pressure at times? Is this frustrating? We just want to assure you this is actually a good thing. Why?

If you have noticed a Red Pick-up in your area with “Water Quality Tester” on the side, this means your water supply is being tested for your safety as required by the Environmental Protection Division (EPD) of the State of Georgia.

Unfortunately we cannot contact everyone each time as flushing/testing in one area may affect water pressure in other areas. We appologize [sic] for any minor inconvenience this may cause.

Of course feel free to contact us at any time with any questions.
