Nancy Beaver starts as new VP of Student Affairs at Lanier Technical College

Dr. Ray Perren, President of Lanier Technical College, announced the appointment of Nancy Beaver as the new Vice President for Student Affairs. Ms. Beaver comes to Lanier Technical College from Chattahoochee Technical College in Marietta, GA where she recently served as Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs. A native of Habersham County, Ms. Beaver has worked at Chattahoochee Tech since 1987.

The new VPSA brings a long history of experience in helping students pursue their career and collegiate goals. Over the years Ms. Beaver has served as a Business Education Instructor, Director of Evening Programs, Dean of Instruction, Director of Enrollment Management, Registrar, Director of Institutional Effectiveness, and Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs. Beaver also has experience with student affairs in a large geographic area; Chattahoochee Tech has multiple campuses as does Lanier Tech.
The new VPSA remarked, "I am honored to join Lanier Tech as VPSA. I look forward to working with the excellent Student Affairs staff to ensure that we are providing innovative programs and services that provide an optimal student-focused experience."
