T3CH WORX, your Downtown Winder Computer and Phone Repair Shop, Offers Free Computer Repair In Time for School

A downtown Winder computer and cell phone repair shop will be bringing needed relief to those who are not able to afford maintenance on their computers in order to get them ready for kids and adults returning to school or looking for work. This is the first year T3CH WORX is offering this free annual service to the community.

“Computers are becoming an integral part of every student’s toolbox arsenal,” said Shawn Hancock, owner and founder of T3CHWORX, “which reflects the presence of computers in almost every work discipline, and therefore the necessity for computer experience in the work force.”

A team of 4 computer technicians will provide a choice of free virus removal or free hard drive operating system reinstall (for reinstalls, customers must have already backed up their own files, or pay a $40 fee).  This is an $85 value.  This offer is limited to just one computer per household (desktop, laptop, or tablet).  Currently, this offer is for Windows-based computers, Android and iOS tablets only, not Apple computers.

If parts are needed, then the computer owner would have to buy the parts and labor separately.  The virus removal and reinstall repair work does not include a warranty, but T3CHWORX stands behind their work. “We guarantee that the computers will be working when we finish work on them; what customers do after they get home is out of our control,” commented Shawn. “A waiver must be signed that states we will fix the computer to the best of our ability.”

This event is timed to occur on the Sales Tax Holiday weekend, so if you need a new and refurbished computer, or a computer peripheral or part (see the full list below), we will have a variety of laptops, desktops, tablets, and computer parts that you can purchase without paying sales tax (see the full list below).

The average turn-around time for a repair job can vary,” Shawn said. “Sometimes we can repair it the same day that it comes in. Sometimes it may take a few days, depending upon a number of factors. T3CHWORX works on a first-come, first-served basis.”

This offer is made for the first 15 computers (one per household).  We expect a line of people, so get there early!  "We'll start handing out numbers at 9:45am."  No reservations accepted. After the first 15 customers, we will provide 15% off on labor to all other customers waiting in line (15% off our regular rates).

The event on Saturday will start at 10am and run until 3pm, or until the first 15 machines are signed in.  This event is timed to occur over the Sales Tax Holiday weekend, so most computer peripherals and components are also tax free as well!  This is a great time to add memory and a bigger hard drive to your desktop and laptops!
