Don't miss the seventh annual Tree House Turbo Turtle Trek on Saturday, August 11 at Crow's Lake in Jefferson.

This event will feature 10,000 rubber turtles which will race in Crow's Lake. The first 10 adopted turtles to cross the finish line win!

The turtle launch is scheduled for 1 p.m. Come early and enjoy the Summer Kids Festival beginning at 10 a.m. and featuring inflatables, face painting, public safety activities, music, food and more.

Proceeds from this event benefit the Tree House Children's Advocacy Center which works to reduce the impact and occurrence of child abuse in Barrow, Banks and Jackson counties.
