Peace Place Thrift Store in conjunction with Supreme Outreach Food Box Program is now a host site which supports offering the public first quality food at a 30 to 50% savings.
All food items are purchased locally, are packaged fresh and stay frozen. All boxes feature chicken, beef, pork, fish products along with fresh frozen vegetables.
Distribution of food will be held at the Peace Place Thrift store located at 339 Highway 82 S Jefferson, GA 30549 they can be reached for information at (706) 387-5006. For the month of May this event will be held on Saturday the 19th from the hours of 8am -11am.

More About Peace Place
Peace Place is a shelter that assists battered women and their children in rebuilding their lives, independently and free of abuse. Services are confidential and free. Peace Place opened in June 2000 and is certified by the Georgia Department of Human Resources and partially funded. The organization provides an emergency, short-term, 15-bed shelter and has housed more than 1,200 women and their children since opening. Peace Place offers individual counseling, support groups, community outreach, case management, children’s programs, life skills classes, legal advocacy and a 24-hour hotline.
