Freshman Success at WBHS
Winder-Barrow High School is excited to announce the creation of a new program called Freshman Success at WBHS. If you are the parent or guardian of a WBHS freshman, you and your student are invited to attend our kick-off meeting on Tuesday, October 16th from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the WBHS cafeteria.
The transition from middle school to high school is a big one and we want to open a four-year long dialogue with you about how best to help your student successfully navigate his time at WBHS. We will share with you what we do as a school for your student, what we need from you as a WBHS parent, and what we expect our students to do for themselves.
You will have the opportunity to choose two 15 minute break-out sessions to attend on the following topics:
- Parent Portal
- GAcollege411.org
- Graduation Requirements
- IEP Resources and Post Secondary Options
We will teach our freshmen The Bulldogg Way! We look forward to seeing you there!
