This is an 18th Century Living History event, open to the public. Come interact with Living Historians demonstrating life in 1790's frontier Georgia, when knee breeches and tri corn hats were still in fashion.
Come to the old fort and see 18th Century craftsmen and women demonstrating their trades, frontier camps, Native American warriors, militia drills, childrens activities, trading post, weapons, hear 18th Century music and other unique 18th Century demonstrations.

More About Fort Yargo State Park
One mile south of downtown Winder, this state park offers a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, fishing, boating and more. Park amenities include 40 campsites, three cottages, five picnic shelters and a pioneer camp. Visitors can bike 18 miles of trails, sunbathe on the beach just off the park's 260-acre lake and challenge themselves on the wooded disc golf course. Parking is $5 per day per vehicle or $5 per stay at the park's campground or cabins. A one-year parking pass is available for $50.
