The Friday Rant ! Vent your Troubles Here...

Here we are again, Ladies and Gents:  The Friday Rant.  This is the 1st time in 2 weeks that the Rant has been up due to the Holidays, so I expect an extra portion of Ranting this week.  I assume that since two weeks have passed that each of us has more than one things to rant about, so bring it!

Rules:  keep it clean and no name calling, business or personal.

My Rant is for my beloved University of Georgia Bulldogs.  I'm tired of people not giving my DAWGS any respect.  I understand that we have given them some reasons to have said disrespect, however I believe this season has proved to be a different caliber of DAWG.  In past years we had no quality wins to show for our ranking.  As the power in the SEC has somewhat shifted to the Eastern Division the caliber of team that UGA initially was at the season's start has morphed into a tougher, more disciplined team.  I will admit that we have some holes in our offense, but I think it took the South Carolina game to kind of turn the team around.  We were sorely exposed at our lack of discipline and even though we struggled against Kentucky, we were still able to beat Florida and the rest of our competition.  Much can be said about Alabama and their stellar team, but just like UGA they were exposed against LSU and more notably Texas A&M.

Folks, UGA has a legitimate shot at beating Bama and moving on to the Irish in the title game.  Our key to Victory is Aaron Murray and our O-line.  If the O-line can protect Murray long enough he'll be able to pick about that moderate secondary.

I'm not being arrogant or stupid, I've just watched the 2 Bama games where they struggled and UGA has to capitalize on the very few mistakes that Bama will make.

And a little prayer doesn't hurt either!

If I hear the term "Fiscal Cliff" just one more time I might be tempted to push someone over it! I am sooo tired of the political theater. We're being played like fools and we have no way to stop it!

I totally agree. It might be best that they jump off of it.
