Greetings Everyone,
My name is Tim Ivey and I am a Trapper Licensed and Certified here in Georgia. My website is www.easternwolferscoyotetrappers.com and I encourage each one to drop by and take a look.
I have alot of good information about Wildlife Control that the general public doesn't know and I write articles in my blog there concerning all aspects of Nuisance Animal Removal, How to Find a Trapper when you need one..etc. I am in the fortunate position to have a full time job as a Locksmith with a major private University here in Atlanta. But Trapping is my Passion. I do not have the high overhead that most other Wildlife Control companies do here in the Metro and therefore can offer my services at a lower price than these companies.
I specialize in trapping and removing Coyotes, Foxes, Bobcats and Beaver. On my website are other animals I remove but Coyotes are my first love and I thoroughly enjoy matching wits with the most difficult animal to trap. I love a challenge and nothing gets me more motivated than going head to head with a calf or pet killing Coyote and winning! I will be posting pictures of what I do, debunking many myths that exist about Trappers and will be glad to answer any questions you have concerning this very specialized and necessary occupation.

Let me clarify one thing. There are two types of Trappers. Fur Trappers and Wildlife Control or Management Trappers. I am a Management Trapper. I work to manage the Predator population in a given area. Sometimes this involves trapping and removing a calf or pet killing Coyote, Diseased animal, or just trapping to reduce the population of predators, mainly Coyotes, on a tract of land. The fur here in Ga. does not prime as it does say in Canada where cold falls and winters contribute to that. There is alot of Sarcoptic Mange in the South also as you will see on some of my pictures.

This time of year I will only trap animals who are posing a danger to humans, pets or livestock because I do not want my non target animals to become heat stressed. I have received permission from two cattle farm owners in Newton county to come onto their property at night to call up Nuisance coyotes and remove them from the population. According to one landowner I spoke with last Saturday, he saw one that would probably go 40-45 pounds. People from all over the US come to his farm every year to purchase top of the line breeding bulls and heifers. This is his livelihood and any danger to them must be removed by all legal means.
