Zaxby's Planned for Bethlehem Location off Ga. Highway 316
The location for a new Zaxby's restaurant has been confirmed and the company is awaiting notification for construction to begin.
Sometime in the future Barrow County will boast not one Zaxby's location but two.
The second location will be built near the Barrow Crossing shopping center, which houses Target, Staples, PetSmart and other retail stores.
Alexa Orndoff, who fields questions from the media for Zaxby's, said the location has been confirmed and the company is waiting on notification to begin construction. Once that happens, the company will have an idea of when Barrow residents can expect the restaurant to open.

Steak and Shake would be good and also a nice place where you can get affordable nice dinners without it costing you $100. for the family to eat out.

Steak and Shake would be so much better than Zaxby's!! I don't really think of Steak and Shake as "fast food"! It's good food at a cheaper price. Is it too late??

Kroger builds beside Publix all the time in the Atlanta area. They have a lot more to offer than Publix. It would be great to have one in Bethlehem!

KG There is a Publix right across the street from Kroger in Flowery Branch. There is a Publix almost across the street from the newest Kroger in Dacula. That's just for instance.

All I can say is I've lived in Atlanta practically my whole life and I've yet to see a Kroger in the front yard, so to speak, of a Publix. I agree, I would love to have Kroger up here. I was told they were building one next to Home Depot, but haven't seen it yet! Now that makes sense!
