Winder YMCA Employee Finds Threatening Note in Locker

According to a Winder Police Department incident report, the note stated the woman would be dead that night and no one could save her.

A martial arts instructor at the Winder YMCA reported finding a threatening note in her locker recently but said she wasn't worried.

On April 12, 2012, an officer with the Winder Police Department was dispatched to the Y in reference to a report of threats being made against an employee.

Upon arrival, the officer spoke to the employee's supervisor, who said someone left a note in the instructor's locker stating she was going to die that night and that no one could save her. The supervisor had made a copy of the note.

The employee told the officer that about 4 p.m. April 11, 2012, she came into the classroom where she teaches and found the key to her locker missing from a drawer and her locker open. Inside the locker was a note from her notepad that stated she would be dead that night and no one could save her.

The instructor told the officer she was not worried about the threat but wanted to make a report in the event other threats were made.
