The woman told an officer that when the coworker refused to go with her to a supervisor's office she tried to make him go.
A woman was arrested recently after a coworker said she pushed him, punched him in the chest and tried to drag him to a supervisor's office after accusing him of stealing medication from her purse.
Cathy Rea Hall, 53, of 362 Mobile Drive in Winder, was arrested July 25, and charged with simple assault after she called the Winder Police Department to report the theft.
According to an incident report, Hall said she observed the coworker pull his hand away from her purse, which was placed in an unlocked storage room, and then found four Hydrocodone pills missing from her prescription bottle.
The coworker told the responding officer Hall had confronted him, accused him of taking her pills, began to push him, punched him the chest and tried to pull him into a supervisor's office. The coworker emptied his pockets and took off his shoes at the officer's request and no pills were found.
Two other employees said they witnessed the reported incident. Hall told the officer that when the coworker refused to go with her to a supervisor's office she tried to make him go. Hall was then arrested and transported to the Barrow County Detention Center.
