A family-friendly movie, popcorn and a drink all for $2 per person? It's an unbeatable deal and it's offered this summer at Barrow County's own Gateway Cinemas 12.
It's part of the Carmike Cinemas Kids Summer Movie Series, and families can watch the 2000 British stop-motion animation film "Chicken Run" at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 14.
The following feature films are scheduled for the remainder of the summer:

- June 28 — Kung Fu Panda
- July 5 — Shark Tale
- July 12 — How To Train Your Dragon
- July 19 — Madagascar 2
