Statham PD Protects, Serves and Teaches with Upcoming Classes

The local police department will host three important classes for residents in March.

The officers at the Statham Police Department take their jobs very seriously.

Not only are they here to protect and serve the residents of Statham and its visitors, they also feel compelled to share their knowledge in the hope they will be better equipped to react should an emergency situation arise.

During the month of March, the Statham Police Department plays host to three very important classes that will help residents of Statham do just that.

  • Free CPR class at the Statham Community Center: Saturday, March 10. This class is open to the public. E-mail Officer Pruitt at michaelpruitt@stathampd.com for the time of the class and registration.
  • Free Eddie Eagle Gun Safety Class at the Statham Public Library:Monday, March 12. This class is open to all children in pre-K through third grade. Officer Pruitt will be conducting the class from 6 to 7 p.m.
  • Neighborhood Watch Meeting addressing severe weather indicators and action at the Statham Police Department:Thursday, March 15. Given the recent severe weather in the Midwest and Southeast this past week, this is an invaluable meeting to attend. Meeting begins at 7 p.m.
