Following a move made by the city of Winder in May, the Statham City Council has approved a juvenile curfew. 

Those 16 and younger are prohibited from loitering, wandering or playing in public places, establishments and vacant properties between the hours of midnight to 6 a.m. 

Exceptions will be made for minors accompanied by a parent or guardian, minors returning directly home from school or religious activities and when traveling to and from jobs.
