Several local artists participated in the "Winter Whimsy" gallery exhibition this past weekend at the Georgia Piedmont Arts Center in Auburn.

"Snow Flake Queen" by Mia Rodriguez was the Chairman's Choice winner. Best of Show was awarded to "Winter Eulogy" by Harold Melton. Other winners included "Rubies in the Snow" by Jo Cooper for first place, 3D, and "Quality Time" by John Saude for first place, 2D.

The next GPAC gallery show, "Home Sweet Home," is scheduled to take place in March. In April, GPAC will host its annual spring tent festival, Spring Phling. Artists interested in participating in the exhibition or tent festival should visit the GPAC web site to pick up an application or phone 404-202-3044 for more information.
