Sheriff's Office Investigating Possible Prank 911 Call Involving County Line Elementary in Winder
An unknown caller reported someone was shooting a firearm on school grounds, a call deputies believe was a possible prank.
The Barrow County Sheriff's Office responded to County Line Elementary about 4:30 p.m. this afternoon after an individual called 911 to report someone was shooting a firearm on school grounds — a call deputies believe may have been a prank.
The sheriff's office posted the following information on its Facebook page:
A unknown caller called 911 and stated a person was at the school shooting a firearm on school grounds. Several deputies and emergency personnel arrived and found the call to be a possible prank. School officials have been notified and the incident will be fully investigated. Anyone with further information is urged to call the Sheriff's Office at 770-307-3080 or 770-307-3122

It is time for this 911 stuff to STOP!!! I hope the cops can put a stop to it. people are talking all around town about the swat team at there house are at local stores saying there was 911 called to them when NO ONE had called,it was even on tv.The cops do not need this, there is more important things for them to do!! Like checking the number ,calling it back before you seen 6 car loads of cops out wasting money and time.
