I think the idea stinks! Just say no to annexation!!!!
I like this idea I ran across somewhere else...let's create a brand new city for this unincorporated area of the county. Can someone tell me how we get this started and run with it? Let's do it now!

winder can not take care of the city limits that they have already. why don't they work on the bypass around winder, and get more business downtown before it turns into a ghost town. make more side walks instead of the pig paths going up athens st. take away the parking on broad st. make it 4 lanes what little business that's in down people can park in these empty lots, I mean parking lots off of broad. get the RR crossing near tractor supply reopened put up a red loght there with turning lanes

So true! get ride of the thrift store and all the churches in the stores and wake up Winder! we need to refresh! lots of sidewalks to walk and run and ride bikes, love the Dollar tree! hanging plants from the lights in the spring, more benches to sit , and fix up the shops already there , a light up water fountain with welcome to winder,
A fresh bread and pastry shop would be great!
