PetSmart Employee Reports Dead Rabbit Left at Store's Front Door
The employee also reported a liquid substance had been thrown onto one of the store's front windows.
A PetSmart employee recently reported a liquid substance that appeared to be chili or soup had been thrown onto one of the store's front windows.
That incident, reported to the Barrow County Sheriff's Office on Feb. 9, 2012, followed another in which a dead rabbit with a gunshot wound to its head was found outside the store's front door.
The complainant asked that the incidents be documented in the event others occur and requested extra patrol during night time hours in light of the recent vandalism.

Why isn't this being investigated? Treated like the actual crime it is. It is a violent crime! If a human were murdered, it certainly wouldn't be being treated so laissez faire. Animal abuse and killing is a DIRECT link in the chain leading to child and "domestic" abuse. It is these "strange", as you have so softly labeled, violent crimes that are committed by the most worrisome offenders. In my own personal profiling opinion, the perp who committed this crime is on some level associated with an employee of the establishment. And there's a high probability "that" employee also knows who it is.

This is disgusting... We finally get a nice shopping center, and people have to trash it somehow. Wow.
