Dixie is an 8- to 9-year-old chihuahua mix who was rescued after her owner died. Dixie is a very very sweet little girl, weighing about 14 pounds. She is housebroken and very laid back and would make a great companion for a retiree. A fence is required.
Cole is a male pit bull terrier/lab mix and is about 2 years old.
Cole needs a place where he will be loved and exercised, as he has a lot of energy that needs to be worked out. Obedience would be highly recommended for this boy, who has a great personality.
Milo is a 3-year -old male terrier mix and weighs about 18 pounds.
He was relinquished to animal control because his family claimed they no longer could take care of him. Pup and Cat Co. volunteers say Milo a kind little soul looking for someone to love him for ever.

Pet adoptions are done by appointment or on adoption days, which are held from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every Saturday at PetSmart in Bethlehem. If you are interested in a particular dog or cat, e-mail Pup and Cat Co. in advance to find out whether the pet you are interested in will be available to see on an upcoming adoption day.

Pup and Cat Co. requires a pre-adoption application for each pet. There may be a waiting period while the application is processed and references are checked.

Typical adoption fees are $225 per animal, while some pets may have had extensive veterinary care and therefore may have a higher adoption fee to help cover their medical expenses.

Contact Pup and Cat Co. by phone at 770-867-1622 or by e-mailing dogcat@bellsouth.net.
