Calling All Artists: Peace Place Seeking Artwork for Second Annual Exhibit

The artwork will be showcased through the month of October, National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, at the historic Barrow County Courthouse in downtown Winder.

 

A local, nonprofit organization that assists victims of domestic violence is preparing for a second art exhibit to to raise awareness of domestic violence. 

Peace Place is accepting submissions for its second annual Peace Place Domestic Violence Awareness Art Exhibit. Art will be showcased throughout the halls of the historic Barrow County Courthouse for the month of October, which is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Peace Place will open the gallery to the public during its 12th annual candlelight vigil Oct. 2, which will be followed by an opening reception. For more information, call 770-307-3633.
