Barrow Patch has rolled out a new feature spotlighting local pets and the owners who love them.

Winder residents Nicole and Bryan Center are the proud owners of Chewy, a 13 year old Havana Brown cat.

The couple rescued Chewy from an animal shelter.

"His unique brown coat is what attracted us to him," Nicole said. 

The most unique thing about this cat is that he loves to talk. He is very vocal, especially when he wants to be loved. He'll use his paws to get your attention. Some of Chewy's favorite things are toys he can chase and any kind of cat treats.

From the very beginning, Chewy was a very loving, talkative cat who would constantly seek attention. He not only enjoys letting his family pet him, but loves to lay on his mom and dad.
