The Gwinnett County Police Department currently has openings for police officers. After completing an intensive training course, police officers will enforce county and state laws to help provide a safe environment for the public. Officers will help crime victims, perform security checks at businesses and residential neighborhoods.

A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required. There is a 3 percent pay incentive for those with an associate's degree and 6 percent for those with a bachelor's degree.
