Freeze Warning in Effect Beginning at Midnight
Sensitive or newly-budded plants could be damaged or killed by freezing temperatures.
The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for Barrow County and surrounding area.
The warning will go into effect at midnight and remain in effect until 9 a.m. Sunday morning. Temperatures are expected to be in the mid- to upper 20s across north Georgia. According to the warning, sensitive or newly-budded plants may be damaged or killed by freezing temperatures.
