- Why go: To enjoy the Christmas Cantata "Lead Me Back to Bethlehem"
- Cost: Free to attend
One Incredible Moment Christmas Musical at First Baptist Church of Winder
- When and where: 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, at the First Baptist Church of Winder
- Why go: To enjoy a Christmas musical
- Cost: Free to attend
Second annual Wiseman 5K and Fun Run
- When and where: 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, at Bethlehem First United Methodist Church
- Why go: To take an active approach to the holiday season by running the 5K or taking part in the fun run
- Cost: $20 per participant
- When and where: 8 a.m. to noon and 2 to 6 p.m Saturday, Dec. 17, at Winder-Barrow High School
- Why go: Parents can let their children enjoy crafts, games and movies while taking some time to finish shopping and make other preparations for the holidays
- Cost: $5 for the first child in a family and $3 for any additional children, with proceeds going to Toys for Tots
